ForGo2 Conference

Each year we have a discipleship emphasis on purity. We alternate every other year between a purity study during February Discipleship and a purity weekend event. ForGo2 is the name of the weekend event. ForGo2 stands for "For Girls Only" and "For Guys Only", hence the G-O squared! Students begin their weekend on Friday evening with discipleship and fun, stay the night at a church family's home (girls and guys in separate homes), have a jam-packed Saturday with more discipleship - more fun - lots of good food - and many things that emphasize purity in their lives. Sunday morning concludes the weekend with a normal Sunday morning experience at Bonsack Baptist Church. This event is organized by a ministry team and is specifically designed for Middle & High school students.

Foundations Discipleship

In Foundations, students can read through all 66 of the miraculous books of the Bible in one year, while still having the flexibility of reading 5 days per week. Along with supplementary devotional content each day, they can experience the miracle of reading and responding to the entirety of God’s Word. By using the H.E.A.R. journaling method, students will be guided through Highlighting, Explaining, Applying, and Responding to passages, allowing for practical application throughout the year-long plan. Then, we will gather once a month to discuss what they have read the previous month in their devotional time.

My Eight Discipleship

My 8 is an eight-session study for all students that will help them understand both the heart and the how-to of evangelism. The study is centered around four passages of Scripture with the number 8 in the reference: Isaiah 6:8; Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 1:8, Acts 8. These passages unfold the wonder of evangelism, moving students to share their faith not because they are obliged to, but because they are compelled to. We will gather together in the Powerhouse for the video portion and then divide into small groups for discussion led by our high school students.

This 4-week series focuses on how we can develop strong, godly friendships, as well as be a strong, godly friend ourselves. How can our “squad” honor God? How can it point others to Jesus? We will look at the goal, model, and mode of friendship. Join us on for worship on Wednesday!
